To ensure everyone has a good time at Little Island Furcon (LIFC), please take a moment to read through our Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may lead to expulsion from the venue, revocation of your con-badge, and potentially a ban from future events.<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t

1.0 – General Rules<\/h3>\n

1.1 – Little Island Furcon (LIFC) is hosted at a public venue. Attendees are reminded to display good conduct in line with this Code of Conduct, complying with both the Venue\u2019s regulations and the laws of Singapore. While we respect that everyone has different values, please be considerate of others, including members of the public. Let\u2019s give others a good impression of the fandom!<\/span><\/p>\n

1.2 – Attendees should treat each other with civility and respect. This includes LIFC staff, volunteers, and hotel staff. Physical or verbal abuse, harassment, or threats to LIFC staff or volunteers, fellow attendees, and to Venue staff will not be tolerated.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.3 – Attendees are required to wear their badges at all times within the Event space. Attendees are also required to show their badges when asked by convention staff. Badges are personal and not transferable. Any attempt at forgery or trespass will be dealt with accordingly.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.4 – Costume is not consent. Get permission from the person before hugging or touching them. No means no; respect their boundaries. This applies to both interactions in or out of fursuit.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.5 – Hugs are nice! But please keep other displays of affection private. Anything intended for display must be family friendly.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.6 – Please take care of all property – attendees will be liable for any damage caused. Dispose of items appropriately, and food is allowed only in the Foyer area. Take care not to spill any food or drinks. <\/span><\/p>\n

1.7 – Attendees aged below 13 at the time of the Convention must have a parent or guardian accompanying them throughout the con at all times. Attendees aged below 16 at the time of the Convention will need to submit a signed consent form at the point of registration.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.8 – We do not condone any speech or behaviour that makes others uncomfortable or feel unsafe.<\/p>\n

<\/b>2.0 – Safety and Security<\/b><\/h3>\n

2.1 – Drugs and other illicit substances are strictly forbidden. The possession, use, or consumption of drugs and illicit substances carries severe penalties in Singapore.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.2 – Do not sleep in public areas. Get a room, please! Attendees found sleeping in public areas will be woken up and their well-being assessed.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.3 – Smoking is strictly forbidden except in areas designated by the Venue. Note that the possession or use of e-cigarettes\/vapes is against the law in Singapore.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.4 – Consume alcohol responsibly. Limit consumption of alcohol to your room or at a licensed establishment. Alcohol consumption is strictly not allowed in the Event Space.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.5 – Attendees are to comply with any instructions given by LIFC Staff, volunteers, or personnel of the Venue. <\/span><\/p>\n

2.6 – If you are feeling unwell, please wear a mask or stay home.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.7 – Any attendees caught breaking any laws will be reported to the authorities.<\/p>\n

3.0 – Weapons and Props<\/h3>\n

3.1 – Actual weapons are strictly prohibited from being carried into the Event space, even as props. This includes all items on the Singapore Police Force\u2019s controlled and prohibited items list, and any other item deemed dangerous by LIFC Security.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.2 – Props made of metal or resin are not permitted, even if blunted.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.3 – Props made from any other material must have their edges blunted.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.4 – Ammunition (including toys or props, e.g. Nerf) is not allowed within the Event space.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.5 – Prop guns must have obvious indicators that they are props, such as an orange tip.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.6 – Do not point, aim, or direct your props toward anyone without permission.<\/span>
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

3.7 – Transport your props safely and with care. Realistic props may cause alarm to the public and attendees are advised to use discretion by using covers or wrapping while transporting them.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.8 – Fursuits, and any other large or bulky costumes\/ items (e.g large tails) are prohibited in the Dealers\u2019 Den.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.9 – LIFC may affix a ribbon or similar objects to your prop to show it\u2019s been approved. Removing or tampering with this will revoke the approval.<\/p>\n

4.0 – Dress Code<\/h3>\n

4.1 – Attire must be family-friendly at the event spaces and surroundings. Prohibited attire includes but is not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Skin-tight clothing (e.g. zentai, spandex, latex)<\/li>\n
  • Kink-associated gear (e.g. pup hoods, harnesses, cuffs with attachment points)<\/li>\n
  • Exposed underwear, even over a fursuit\/costume<\/li>\n
  • Leashes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Generally, any article of clothing that indecently reveals one\u2019s body is not allowed. We may ask attendees to cover up if deemed inappropriate.<\/p>\n

    Collars are acceptable only if worn with a fursuit.<\/p>\n

    4.2 – The display and use of logos or symbols associated with controversial organisations and movements is prohibited.<\/p>\n

    4.3 – Costumes that resemble real-world uniforms must not cause public alarm or mislead others into believing you represent a legitimate organisation (e.g., military or police).<\/p>\n

    5.0 – Fursuit Lounge<\/b><\/h3>\n

    5.1 – Access to the Fursuit Lounge is allowed only for Fursuiters and Handlers.<\/span><\/p>\n

    5.2 – You will need to be in a fursuit, or have a Fursuiter or Handler badge\/ sticker to enter the Fursuit Lounge.<\/span><\/p>\n

    5.3 – Fursuiters are allowed only one handler in the Lounge due to space constraints.<\/span><\/p>\n

    5.4 – No photos or video recordings are allowed in the Fursuit Lounge.<\/span><\/p>\n

    5.5 – Please be considerate and keep the fursuit lounge tidy. Your items may be moved if it\u2019s causing inconvenience.<\/p>\n

    5.6 – No setting up of personal devices is allowed – do not unplug anything for your own use. If you require assistance, please inform Con Ops.<\/p>\n

    6.0 – Media Policy<\/b><\/h3>\n

    6.1 – Attendees may take photos or videos during the event. If you prefer not to be included, please avoid camera view or politely inform the photographer.<\/span><\/p>\n

    6.2 – Please ask for permission before taking photos with fursuiters or people.<\/span><\/p>\n

    6.3 – LIFC may invite external media outlets to cover the Convention. All media will also be vetted by us before approval for release.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

    7.0 – All Rights Reserved<\/h3>\n

    7.1 – LIFC reserves the right to remove any attendees found disregarding the Code of Conduct, or the instructions of LIFC or Venue staff. In the event of a removal, there will be no refunds for any convention fees paid.<\/span><\/p>\n

    7.2 – LIFC is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.<\/span><\/p>\n

    7.3 – LIFC reserves the right to remove any unapproved booths, events, or activities at the convention, including, but not limited to any which may cause disruption to attendees or operations of the venue or LIFC.<\/span><\/p>\n

    7.4 – LIFC cannot account for every potential scenario that may occur.
